Water Act 2016 in section 21(1) states” The Authority shall ensure that there is a National monitoring and geo referenced information system on Water resources”.
WRA has established a National monitoring network and information system which is currently being updated.
The data in the WRA database is stored in a time series format and it is available at the Regional and National offices. It includes: –
Water levels (Daily), Measured and computed discharges, Weather data (Rainfall,
Evaporation), Groundwater, Water Quality, Abstraction data, Spatial data, WRUAs and Catchment Maps

The Regular Gauging Station (RGS) mobile app which displays location and basic information on the RGS. This app can be downloaded at the google play store on your phone (search wrma rgs)
